Let's say you're interested in improving the reading process as much as possible.

There are really only a few things you can do:

  • Improve inputs. Not all reading material is equal, and you can improve the process by choosing higher "quality" books, papers and articles.

  • Improve the reading process. Improve the actual reading process itself. This, traditionally, is where speed-reading fits in (but I think it is BS).

  • Improve the post-reading process.
